Peter Paul joined UBX in 2007 as a Systems Engineer, contributing to the integration of new banks and the installation of ATMs within the UmojaSwitch financial systems infrastructure. In 2009 he became Senior System Engineer (EFT Systems), developing new features and systems within the financial ecosystem.
In 2012 he became Senior Manager for Business Solutions and, the same year, Senior Manager for Applications Research and Development — leading solutions including Share Mobile Banking, UhuruPay, Local Government revenue collection systems and ticketing systems (cash and card). He was appointed Chief: ASD in 2021, overseeing software development and support so that products are delivered on time, on budget and to high quality standards.
